Leverage ChatGPT as Your Main LLM
Use ChatGPT as your primary platform as it continues to have the best time ROI, especially if you are on a Mac/iPhone (Download the App - it's a game changer).
On Windows? OpenAI is still top-notch, but explore Copilot if your workplace offers a paid account for free.
Always Use a Paid Account
Privacy is better safeguarded in paid tiers. Handle sensitive info (health, client data, etc.) with care.
For more on data sensitivity and AI, check out this article I wrote after the question was raised again and again during one of my ‘Ask Alec’ sessions.
Integrate AI into Your Daily Workflow
There are many ways to do this depending on work/school/home needs. My #1 way is to get set up to talk to ChatGPT on your phone and computer. I talk to ChatGPT in the car, at my desk, on walks, and even in meetings.
AI is an And Equation, not OR.
Research shows us that AI works better with you. You work better with AI.
It’s not you, it's your Prompt.
If you are not getting results, give the AI a [ Role], [Task Description] in [Context] with [Specific Requirements] and avoid the following [Boundaries], then QA the response or ask it to explain its reasoning/list sources.
Using AI is a Skill. You can grow it in 2025 via
Education > Training > Practice > Experience.
Start Small - Don’t get overwhelmed.
Eat the Elephant one bite at a time. Time block 30 minutes, once a week on your calendar for testing and learning AI.
Automate the Boring Stuff
Notion = second brain.
Zapier = automate everything else.
Prepare for Change by having clear frameworks and goals.
