Throughout the Ask Alec session, we asked your marketing & business peers a series of AI questions, here’s what they’re feeling about AI…
ChatGPT, decidedly, with Claude a distant second.
Automation was the resounding winner. It wasn’t even close.
Finding the right tool for the job. Then, imposter syndrome (it’s daunting, I get it).
Most said: All day every day.👏
It was a near 50/50 split between No! and Absolutely…
I’m curious, what do you think?

Advanced security & compliance 🔒
Custom model fine-tuning
Dedicated account manager
Most expensive option 💰
Requires long-term commitment
Choosing the right plan is step one. Using it effectively? That’s where the 40% faster happens! ✨
Here’s my 6-Step Framework for better prompts:
Act as a [Role] 🎭 – Define AI’s persona (e.g., "Act as a Marketing Strategist")
Create a [Task] 🎯 – Be clear ("Write 5 email subject lines for our new product launch")
In [Context] 🔎 – Add background ("For our Partner Network")
List [Requirements] 📋 – Must-haves ("Include humor, a CTA, and Emoji")
Set [Boundaries] 🚧 – Avoid confusion ("No tech jargon or political references")
QA [Result] ✅ – Review for clarity, tone, accuracy, and relevance
This 👆🏼handy resource in Google Sheets, Doc and PDF version available to purchase in the MA resource library, here. It was FREE for our Ask Alec attendees - another perk of attending my upskill sessions.😌
The next big topic was making time to learn AI. It's hard. Too many tools. Moving faster each week.
Time block 30 min/week to sharpen your AI skills. ⏳
Test what works for you.
Refine & build a repeatable process for consistent wins. 🏆
OpenAI just rolled out "Tasks" for ChatGPT (beta) this week — now available for Plus, Team, and Pro users. This powerful feature lets you schedule reminders and recurring tasks, their next step in prepping you for AI Agents.
Smart Scheduling: Set one-time or recurring tasks using simple prompts.
Versatile Uses: I’m using it for daily updates, news briefings, and competitive intel.
Notifications: Receive push notifications or emails when tasks are due.
Enable Tasks: Choose "4o with scheduled tasks" in the model picker.
Task Limit: Manage up to 10 active tasks during beta.
Platform Access: Set tasks anywhere, manage them on the web app.
First Step Toward AI Agents: Paves the way for more autonomous AI.
Boosts Productivity: Automates daily routines and work tasks.
Business Ready: Ideal for automating client updates or internal briefings.
Beta Phase: Features will likely change based on feedback.
No Continuous Search: Tasks run on schedule but can’t search 24/7.
No Voice Setup: Tasks can't be set using Advanced Voice Mode (yet!).
OpenAI's Tasks are in early days I’m super excited to see what I can do with tools like Zapier and GPT’s as we move forward.
Let’s make 2025 your most productive year yet! 💥
Have more questions? Keep your eyes out for registration for my next Ask Alec session - mid next month!
P.S. If you found this valuable, I'd appreciate you forwarding it to another marketer. It'll take you 8 seconds. I’ve spent months testing ChatGPT (and creating those downloadable resources).
